Congratulations New Eagle Scout

Congratulations to Shane Wolf. Shane's Eagle Court of Honor was held at Valley Brook Golf Course, celebrating Shane's journey from Tiger Scout to Eagle. Shane built a bridge 31 feet in length on the Cumberland Trail.

Troop Wins at District Camporee

Congratulations to Troop 166 for winning the First Aid and Camping Skills competitions at the 2011 Mountain District camporee.

New Eagle Scout

Congratulations to Alex Seeley for passing his Eagle Board of review. Alex started in Pack 3266 and joined Troop 166 after completing his Arrow of Light. Again, congratulations to Mr. Seeley.

Troop Prepares for the Hiwassee River Race

Troop 166 recently collected bamboo and are practicing their lashings in preparation for the Hiwassee River Race at the end of the month. They are looking forward to putting their scouting skills to the test. Hopefully, their swimming skills won't be needed.

Scouts Honor Veterans

Scouts from Pack 3266 and Troop 166 honored veterans this weekend by placing flags on graves at the National Cemetery in Chattanooga. Here is a video created by Scout parent David Cox.

Order of the Arrow

Troop 166 is active in the Order of the Arrow.
As Scouting’s National Honor Society, our purpose is to:

  • Recognize those who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives and through that recognition cause others to conduct themselves in a way that warrants similar recognition.
